Ans : The Tsar went to the forest where the hermit lived in a cottage and dismounting from his horse he put on common man's dress and walked alone on foot to meet the hermit.
বঙ্গানুবাদ : জার সন্ন্যাসী যে-জঙ্গলে কুটিরে বাস করতেন সেখানে গিয়েছিলেন এবং ঘোড়া থেকে নেমে তিনি সাধারণ মানুষের পোশাক পরে এক পায়ে হেঁটে সন্ন্যাসীর সঙ্গে দেখা করতে গিয়েছিলেন।
2. What questions did arise in the mind of the Tsar?
(জারের মনে কী কী প্রশ্নের উদয় হয়েছিল?)
Ans : The three questions that arose in the mind of the Tsar were what was the right time to begin everything, who were the right people to listen to and whom to avoid, and what was the most important thing to do.
বঙ্গানুবাদ : তিনটি প্রশ্ন যা জারের মনে উদয় হয়েছিল সেগুলি ছিল- সবকিছু শুরু করার সঠিক সময় কী, সঠিক মানুষগুলি কারা যাদের কথা শোনা উচিত এবং কাদের এড়িয়ে চলা উচিত এবং সবথেকে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ কাজ কোনটি।

(সন্ন্যাসীর মতে সবচেয়ে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ কাজ কোনটি?)
Ans : According to the hermit, the most important thing to do for a man is to do something good to that person with whom he happens to be in the present time.
বঙ্গানুবাদ : সন্ন্যাসীর মতে একজন মানুষের কাছে সবচেয়ে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ কাজ হল যার সঙ্গে বর্তমানে ঘটনাক্রমে সে রয়েছে তার কিছু ভালো করা।

(সন্ন্যাসীটি কীসের জন্য কেন বিখ্যাত ছিলেন? তিনি কোথায় থাকতেন?)
Ans : The hermit was famous for his wisdom.
He lived in a hut inside a wood which he never quitted.
বঙ্গানুবাদ : সন্ন্যাসী তাঁর প্রজ্ঞার জন্য বিখ্যাত ছিলেন। তিনি একটি বনের মধ্যে একটি কুটিরে থাকতেন যেখান থেকে তিনি কখনো বেরোতেন না।
5. Why did the Tsar want to have the answers to the three questions?
(জার কেন তিনটি প্রশ্নের উত্তর জানতে চেয়েছিলেন?)
Ans : The Tsar was a capable and responsible ruler and wanted his subjects to be happy. So he thought that if he knew the answers to the three questions then he could become successful in any task that he might undertake. He wanted this wisdom to guide his actions and decisions to govern perfectly.
বঙ্গানুবাদ : জার ছিলেন একজন দক্ষ ও দায়িত্বশীল শাসক এবং চাইতেন তাঁর প্রজারা সুখী থাকুক। তাই তিনি ভেবেছিলেন যে, যদি তিনি সেই তিনটি প্রশ্নের উত্তর জানতেন, তাহলে যে কোনও কাজেই সফল হতে পারবেন। তিনি চেয়েছিলেন এই জ্ঞান নিখুঁতভাবে শাসন করার জন্য তাঁর কাজকর্ম এবং সিদ্ধান্তগুলিকে পরিচালিত করুক।

Ans : The hermit lived in a wood because he wanted to live alone and the forest provided him the serenity.
He received only common people.
বঙ্গানুবাদ : সন্ন্যাসী বনে থাকতেন কারণ তিনি একা থাকতে চাইতেন এবং জঙ্গল তাকে সেই প্রশান্তি দিত। তিনি কেবল সাধারণ মানুষের সঙ্গেই দেখা করতেন।
7. What was the hermit doing when the Tsar came to take leave of him? [H.S-2022, 19]
(যখন জার বিদায় নিতে এসেছিলেন, তখন সন্ন্যাসী কী করছিলেন?)
Ans : When the Tsar came to take leave of the hermit, he was sitting in front of his hut. Crouching on his thin legs, he was sowing seeds in the beds that had been dug the day before.
বঙ্গানুবাদ : জার যখন সন্ন্যাসীর কাছে বিদায় নিতে এসেছিলেন তখন তিনি তাঁর কুটিরের সামনে বসে ছিলেন। তিনি তাঁর শীর্ণ পা দুটি মুড়ে বসে আগের দিনের খুঁড়ে রাখা কেয়ারিতে বীজ বপন করছিলেন।

Ans : The Tsar wanted the answer of the three questions that arose in his mind. When the scholars and learned men failed to give him satisfactory answer, he visited the wise hermit for the answers.
বঙ্গানুবাদ : জার তিনটি প্রশ্নের উত্তর শুনতে চেয়েছিলেন যেগুলি তার মনে উদয় হয়েছিল। যখন পণ্ডিত এবং শিক্ষিত লোকেরা তাকে সন্তোষজনক উত্তর দিতে পারল না, তিনি তখন জ্ঞানী সন্ন্যাসীর কাছে উত্তরের জন্য গেলেন।

বঙ্গানুবাদ : যখন জার সন্ন্যাসীর কাছে বিদায় নিতে এলেন তখন সন্ন্যাসী আগের দিনে খোঁড়া জমির ধারে বীজবপনের জন্য হাঁটু গেড়ে বসেছিলেন।

Ans : The third question of the Tsar was- what is the most important thing to do.
According to the hermit, the most important thing is to do good to the person with whom one was at that moment. Because for that purpose only one has been sent to this earth.
বঙ্গানুবাদ : জারের তৃতীয় প্রশ্নটি ছিল সবচেয়ে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ কাজটি কী।
সন্ন্যাসীর মতে, সবচেয়ে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ কাজ হল সেই মুহূর্তে তার সঙ্গে থাকা ব্যক্তির ভালো করা। কারণ কেবল সেই উদ্দেশ্যেই একজনকে এই পৃথিবীতে পাঠানো হয়েছে।
